Hi all, This is my first year doing a cook-off. The rules that I have in the cook-off came from a few other cook-offs. One of my rules says no parboiling. Some of you have said that I should allow parboiling. 1st- What is parboiling, 2nd- would it be beneficial for me to allow parboiling? So you are saying boiled ribs are better than yours ??
The judges should not know whose entry is whos right ?? Judging should not be a reason not to allow parboiling or not... If you dont allow parboiling are you also going to exclude gas grills ??
