In case anyone looked at the overall totals, they are incorrect. I have emailed Mike the corrected point totals and hopefully they should be posted soon.

Here are the updated figures for this year's GLBBQA MI Team of the Year Competition. These figures are good through 7-12-09.

Overall

1. Smokin' Scotsmen - 89pts.
2. Extreme Roasters - 71pts
3. Pork of the North - 60pts.
4. Pigs-N-Digs - 20pts.
5. Pappy's Medley - 16pts.

The individual categories are the combined scores received in the two comps so far in that category. Those teams that have submitted applications for the ToY Comp and do not appear here have not competed so far this year.

Remember folks you can submit an application to me any time prior to the beginning of any KCBS sanctioned State of Michigan BBQ competition to be included. C'mon have some fun.

I am sure someone may correct me but I believe the standings and awards will be unveiled at the annual meeting on March 20.

No Scott, the awards will be given out at the annual Holiday party in January. If you remember correctly we discussed this at the Board meeting two weeks ago.
