Hello, all!
Thanks for the open invite to your forum, I'll try not to get in the way too much . I started out cooking comp BBQ with a friend of mine in 2006 and took the CBJ class in early 2007. My plan was to judge a couple of comps a year while cooking 5 or 6 others, but a back injury put a halt to doing comp cooking on a regular basis. Now I judge 12 to 15 contests a year and I'm usually there on Friday evening with a cooler full of Busch Light and smoked cheese that I'm more than willing to share.Most of the time I know about 25% of the teams at a comp, so there are folks here that I've met either on the Brethren site or at a contest. I keep running into Mike (bbqbull) at the Royal year after year - I don't know how he puts up with me .
