One thing to keep in mind is that not every facility is the same, so if one needs something different we are good with that. Flexibility is the key.

I just talked to Jeff Clark and he is figuring on doing his Hart event again this year. He is planning on mid October. Barb and I have agreed to help him again.

I heard back from the nursing home and got the green light. I need some volunteers to help me feed these 300 seniors.

Troy - I still have you down for beans and volunteering as the BoD representative.

Bobby G - I have you, Tina, and possibly Robbie down for volunteering.

Melissa - Would you and the Aww Hell team like to volunteer?

Jerry / Barb - I know you are going to SL to help Jeff but I could use you if you have time.

Anybody in the GR area that wants to volunteer would be greatly appreciated. Chucky? Cheech?

Rich,
That is a pretty good sized group, once you get the volunteers lined up, PM me with the date you have picked out. Also I would suggest talking directly to the facility dietician and run the menu by him/her for an O.K.. I'd bet out of the 300 there are several on special diets but you can work around that.
I'll talk with you in Silver Lake some more about it.

Scott

Done, 1 cambro full ought to do it, 10 half pans. Does that number ring true?
Rich the co-ordination is the hard part, Thank you so much for stepping up and giving us mid michigan people a chance to pitch in.

I thought I read somewhere that a half pan of beans serves 25 X 10 half pans would be = 250 servings but since these are seniors it might be fine. I will let you make that call.

I am hoping to do this Oct 8th will that work?

A date hasn't been set yet, but i am hoping to get everyone there on Oct 8th. If you can come over that would be great. We are going to need a lot of hands.

That is a Saturday, which is good! Lets talk and see if Jeff has enough volunteers.. Maybe Bobby G can help Jeff which would free me up. I have a Cambro so we could cook and bring that with... Options are open...

I don't have a trailer cooker to warm up the food so yours would be nice to use for that. Plus having you and Barb there to help serve would be great.

I will calculate how much cambro room we need, but we can talk at SL.

Sounds like a plan. We are getting pretty excited about SL. Barb told me this morning that the weather was going to be great. I don't know how she knows these things, but she is right more often that not.
