That's right, it WAS a smoked chuckie. Dried the piss outa it by mistake. Treated it like all the others. Hoping it was just a bad cut.
That's my story and I'm sticking too it! At least it turned into decent sammie spread!

Ate many of them leftover chuckie sammies as a kid.
Ground the meat in our hand crank grinder, add some mayo and sweet pickle relish and we thought we were in heaven. They were roasted chuckies as a kid we never had a grill. |

My mother made beef spread like that. Used leftover potroast. As I remember it was good! It is always good to have some variety!
