Info on Las Vegas Comp in May

Smoke on the Water Productions is now firming up the proposed Vegas event. Dates are May 20 & 21. I'm going out to meet the Casino owners and visit the property December 15th. What we know at this point is we may actually have over $150,000 in prize money ($75,000 Grand Champion if happens) with options in 2012 for $200,000 purse. Vegas wants to create the world's largest event. Major sponsors involved, guaranteed electricity and water along with a great banquet and A list entertainment for Friday night welcome party. The interest is very strong and we plan to have contracts signed and contest announcement by December 18th. The casino is planning on hosting a judging school so we have a pool of certified judges in the area and the contest will be submitted as KCBS event and is open to all. More details coming soon.
