Default A basic BBQ rub

I am pretty much known for a "lack of sweet" in my cooking... just a warning.

Feel free to muck about with the recipe, but this'll get ya in the ballpark of a beginning

Recipe is in parts...EG: a teaspoon or a cup.

2 paprika
1 onion powder
1 garlic powder
1 cumin
1 brown sugar
1.5 Kosher salt
1 cracked black pepper

consider a part of: mustard powder, thyme, rosemary, basil, coriander, red pepper, etc...

mix well... store unused portion in freezer. Goes without saying, fresher components make better rubs!

Thanks for sharing. This would be a great start to any type of rub. Simply add a few ingredients and bend it towards any meat.
