Milan Area Fire Fighters Cook Off
Hey all, Not sure if this has been posted by anyone else but, Milan Area FF are hosting a back yard (2 meat) Cook Off Saturday August 4th. They have 20 spots open 10 for general public and 10 for Police/Fire/1st responders. Deadline for entry has been extended til July 23rd. Entry is $50.00, which includes two tickets per team for the pig roast dinner after the judging. A local company has stepped up and is willing to cover the entry fee for any Washtenaw County Emergency responders teams. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd as well as top placing ER team. Remember, this is also a fund raiser for the Milan Area Volunteer Fire Department.

Can't make that event... altho I dig charity/benefit deals.
Any team/person competing can PM me and I'll supply some of my Mad Hunky rub free. Also would provide a couple gallons' worth of pork brine for the pig injection. Thanks for your service, guys!

Will we see you down here Scott? Also, if possible, can we get a GLBBQA banner again? It would be great to see some of the Great Lakes family, even if it's just for dinner(Beers)!
