Oh, stay on topic, I saw a sign that said "boiled peanuts" when Rich and I were traveling thru Georgia. Actually was looking for the roadside people selling peanut butter but guess there was a salmonella scare a while back and they don't do that anymore. Best peanut butter I got was in Tipton County, GA, think it is the peanut capital of the world or something like that.

Scott
I think on our whole trip I only seen one sign for boiled peanuts. Maybe it isn't a Northern Georgia delicacy. It seems weird to boil a peanut, but I would be willing to try it.

Mark will probably be laughing for quite a while on your peanut butter story.

Actually it is. I lived up in Blue Ridge/Blairsville area for a few years and they are much better than the south Georgia peanuts. What time of year were you there? The only sell them in the fall.

That is probably why, Scott and I were down there a couple weeks ago.
