This is the recipe I have settled on for my house rub:
200g (1-3/4 c) Spanish Paprika 80g (3/4 c)Ground Black Pepper 160g (3/4 c)Kosher Salt 250g (1 cup) White Sugar 80g (3/4 c) Dark Chili Powder 80g (1/2 c) Garlic Powder 15g (3Tbsp) Cayenne Powder 20g (1/4 c) Ground Coriander 36g (1/2 c) Ground Cumin 56g (1/2 c) Onion Powder This batch made just over 2 pounds of rub, which I hope will last me 6-8 cooks, and cost $16 for the raw spices. Rock

My snooty market (Holiday Market) has Spanish, Hungarian and Smoked Paprika. I have used the Spanish and Smoked and prefer the Spanish. I added some Chipotle powder to one version and it really deepened the smoky flavor.
Bulk spices are fun! Rock
