Greetings to all,
Well the fire on the GLBBQA newsletter has been out for some time now, but Mike asked me if Rich and I would mind placing a special order for some really good and long burning coal so this doesn't happen again... Well I have the stuff, but I need some help getting it lite... So I'm looking to anyone for some assistance. *Translated* Mike asked the technology team to take over the writing and managing of the news letter. I accepted and I'm looking for some help. I already have a couple of ideas that we are going to try and see how they work including "From the boardroom..." (A letter from our president), "Hot off the pit..." (How GLBBQA teams are doing in MI comps) and classified section (no adult ads, so stop asking Scott!!! (Just kidding...). I'd also like to have reviews from the different comps including pictures. I will need help with this one for sure. It's hard to stop to take pics and talk with people while they are awake at a comp if I'm competing too. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks, Tom

The B.O.D. has been throwing this around for awhile trying to come up with a quality product and with the help of Tom and Rich I think we can accomplish that. However, membership participation is a must to make it work.
I like Bill's idea about a "from the judges" article that could keep the cookers up to date on what the judges are seeing, liking, and not liking. Thanks again guys for helping out, the more motivation we can get from the membership, the better the association will be. Scott
