You're Correct Geoff,
I didn't use the right liquid to begin with so that's why it's a little thick.
I'm still learning after all...

No probleemo Derek. May I suggest, if it happens again, you use a little milk, cream, or chix stock to thin it out.

Porridge is supposed to be thick. :D Gravy is easy Derek, just make a slurry of water and flour, pour alittle in at a time in almost boiling stock all the while wisking real fast until you reach the consistancy you like.

I used flour, butter, milk. instead of chix stock.
Next time I will use fummul or chix stock :)

There is no problem with your combo. Just use more liquid .. ie: milk, stock, or what ever.
