Rib Burn in New Baltimore - Smoke on the Bay

Just wanted to pass on that there is going to be a Rib Burn on August 7th in New Baltimore. This would be a great time for all to come out and cook some ribs right by the Bay!! Get your feet wet in the comp scene for a low price and have a good time!!

No other info as of yet Tom but what else do you need?
This is a fundraiser for the Lions club. Each cook will get 5 slabs of ribs, turn in 6 bones and the rest goes to feed the public to sell along with a complete BBQ meal. All proceeds will fund a Lions charity.

This will be right on main st. in town and should be a great time. Beach is right there and should have lotsa family friendly things to do.

I'll keep you updated. :D

I don't know if I can afford to drive 3 hours for a couple hundred bucks. Might not be enough to fire up the drum. :p

Please have your EZ ups, wash station (at least set up) and red cups. Garnish is optional. I believe they have gotten 4 pastors from the city to judge. :rolleyes: so cross shaped layouts in your turn in boxes are strongly suggested. :cool:

GREAT time, good folks. Had 13 teams for a first year event and they paid cash!
I think there may have been more alcohol around the cookers than the beer tent but thats about normal. Definetly doing this again next year and i'll make sure they get bigger ribs. :rolleyes:
