Scott,
The date of the Brooklyn Michigan contest is rapidly approaching and very
few Michigan teams have registered. Due to the small number we have opened
the additional prize monies to all Michigan teams who register. We're
trying to get at least 75 teams to compete at Michigan International
Speedway. If we put on a good showing, I'm confident we can raise our prize
money to $50,000.
Can you could send out a broadcast email to your members reminding them the
of the contest and the dates August 13&14, 2010. We just completed the
Daytona International Speedway contest July 2&3, 2010 and everyone was
excited about the venue and how well the track welcomed them. The Michigan
Speedway seems to be doing more to welcome the barbecue teams.
