The tall ship festival is also taking place that same weekend and what that is all about is there are the old wood sail boats looking like old pirate ships, they will be sailing in and out of the Bay in front of South Bay Marina so there will some cool things to see.

Expected foot traffic is going to range anywere from 500 to about 1200 people to be expected that weekend. If you know anyone who would be interested in sponsoring or exhibiting please let me know or maybe run it by them and have them callthe event contact at cell #920-360-6892.

I feel discriminated against!

Sounds like a fun event. Are you cooking or running it? Either way good luck.

I'm cooking the pork and ribs. With only one cooker and no set schedule as of yet can't plan more than that. I'm not running it, just think it will be a fun event and if there are any GLBBQA members who wold like to join in, or be part of a team to cook, let me know! I like it as it's a non-sanctioned event and it will be my first comp, so no pressure at all to enter and see how things work. I'm entering the Milwaukee KCBS sanctioned cook over Labor Day so this is great practice!
