New to the Forum from Canton, Michigan

Greetings from Canton, MI!

I've been barbecuing for about a year and a half on my Brinkmann Rectangular unit with some modifications, and am in the processof stepping up (over?) to a Char-Broil Offset that I purchased second hand and am going to refurb, repaint and modify.

Hoping to start competing (maybe???) at some point in the future.

Welcome aboard....this is an interesting place to learn a lot about a lot of things.....and i am still waiting to actually meet Derek in person....can anybody vouch that he is a real person and not just a figment of our imagination? I just knew he would be at Auburn Hills but I was disappointed, maybe i will meet him at the comp on the 12th

If'n I remember right theres a girly bar not to far from the complex, someone told me about it.
