Congratulations Scott; I'm sure Thursday had to be a hard day for you. I know my last day was hard for me. It never really sank in for me until the following Monday morning, when the alarm clock didn't go off at 6:30am (but I was up anyway) and I said to myself WTF am I doing up this early, went back to bed and slept 'til nearly 10. Then I got up and went and played golf.
Enjoy your retirement my friend, you have earned it. Be thankful you retired while you are still healthy which enables you to enjoy it. Let's have a great weekend in Auburn Hills!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. I put a uniform on and worked the road all day, even had a alarm call and had to run lights and siren, had a hard time finding the buttons to push to make all that stuff work.
Honestly, it was really hard, kind of had a melt down in the Chiefs office when I had to turn my Lt bars, gun, badge and I.D. card over to him, the afternoon shift Sgt had me do his roll call for him, Gonna miss it alot but now you guys are in the path of my wrath!
Thanks again
Scott

Good idea using the siren, let 'em know you're coming so they can leave before you get there....smart idea on your last day!!!!!!!:D
