So, has anybody else tried the bbq joint - Blue Tractor - in Ann Arbor? I went last night. Wife had a salmon club, I had the brisket sandwich. Pretty good results. Brisket was very moist, but only a very slight smoked flavor. Really good slaw. The bread they used to make the sandwiches were excellent. I stayed away from the ribs, because they used their "texas" sauce on them...turns out it is the only sauce they don't make in house. I tasted the sauce - I think it was Sweet Baby Rays. Their three carolina sauces, a red ketchup based sauce, a mustard based and a vinegar, were all much better than their outsourced texas sauce.

Saw the chicken someone else had ordered, looked yummy.

By the way, they also brew their own beers. Quite Delicious.

Before I go again, I'd love to hear reviews from others that have tried it.

Did you see a smoke ring on the brisket? or did they par boil it for hours then smoke it for 5 minutes?
