I'm getting to the point where I may be thinking about eating tons of salt even though my body will shut down a little bit at a time.

But I'm missing too many great food. Yeah I still eat everything but strands at a time. Literally strands of stuff unless it's low sodium.

What do you guys do when you get like this?

I usually take a nap.:D And hope I wake in a good mood.

The challange is to make food so good that they don't notice that there is no salt. I have been on a salt resriction so long that I don't like salt an more.

Perhaps your focus should be: to come, meet some great people, have a good time, and get tid bits of constructive critism. The judging scores will be your best feed back. (Can't trust your friends for cooking input!)

It is nice to win, but should not over shadow the above values!

It is not whether you win or lose, but rather how you play the game!

Now get involved in the Modern Hardware Steak Fry. You will be gald you did!
They provide 2/3rds of the meat. What have you got to lose?

Stop over thinking everything!

Stop over thinking everything!Thank Jerry, Any info on this comp?

or event?

By the way, how do you do it? I've been on it for about a year or almost a year. And it really sucks.

Well I should say 10 years but that's when they told me not to eat pickled stuff and watch how much I can drink, though. The food restriction is been in place for a year.

Thanks Mike, I've decided not to go to that one. I'm going to the rib & wing fest July 4th.

The June month is going to be getting my Cajun Bandit conversion kit, and a turkey fryer ( thanks for the idea Jerry! )
