The Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce is partnering with other civic groups and a BLues Festival for a BBQ contest on the 4th of July weekend.
What I know for sure right now is they have $1500.00 in prize money and it will be a 1 day event. I think just a rib burn.
Other things like location, electricity, water, etc.. are not available yet but I should know more this week.
Just wanted to get the word out since it is a Holiday weekend and we all get busy fast.

This is just a rib cook Derek. These are the kind of contests you should be looking at doing and can be done by yourself.

Call the Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce and ask them your questions. I am sure if Scott would have received more information he would have posted it already.

it was a technique I tried once but didn't like it. I did get a ribbon with it though.
