Friendly reminder to folks coming to the Eagle Fun Cook!:D
I-96 is down to 2 lanes from 1-496 (east west freeway that runs through downtown Lansing) north and then west to almost Eagle exit.
Folks coming up from Detroit area will be required to drive 60 mph for about 10 miles.
You will be delayed a small bit but be careful of folks merging on to the freeway.
Flint area folks coming west on I-69 will need to use caution merging onto I-96 as well. You too will be driving 60 mph on the freeway.
Be careful of folks merging on and off freeway, there have been several accidents due to the construction, and then it shuts down fast.
Added extra police patrols are in the area looking for speeders.:(
Being a Friday afternoon I expect traffic to be heavier, please be careful folks.
