Team Of The Year

It was talked about for just a few minutes at the meeting, but has a decision been made of deciding the requirements for team of the year? There were two thoughts....

1) Total points for Michigan comps

2) Top 3 finishes in Michgan comps with a minimum of 3 comps to be eligible

Personnally, I like option 2. Some teams cant make all comps in Michigan.

I vote option 2...

Any thoughts on Rookie Team of the Year as an award? Might help get some of the newer GLBBQA members involved in more comps. Right now, only the teams that compete in a ton of contests can win the TOY. If we added ROY, there would be something to shoot for the teams that are just getting started...Just a thought...Nothing against the big dog teams-they should win, too for all the work the time they put in on "the circuit".

What have you been smoking? First comp out you should be able to hold your own against them pros. First comp I did came in 10th overall out of 40 teams. Every dog has its day, some dogs just get more time in the sun.
