At present we have 6 registered and paid teams. In order for our committee to complete our planning and preparation. We need to have some realistic attendence numbers. Please post here if you are planning to attend. Then get your money in ASAP. We are only 10 days from the offical cut-off date. Time is getting short.

Thanks!

There is Graden Market (new store that sells only produce) really close to Mrs Dawg and I. I get all my veggies there now. When in season, all they sell is Michigan produce. Will go there tomorrow and inquire about a case or two of the "magic green".

I can get a case of parsley at wholesale prices. $35 for a case, but there are 60 bunches to a case.

That's alot of parsley...............

20 bunches per team, 5 bunches per box. not too bad. If its really nice looking parsley, we wouldn't need that much, but sometimes early parsley aint to good.

I have never seen any bad produce, veggies, herbs, etc, sold. Get all my fresh stuff there.

Will pay and tell them next week to have a case ready for pickup the morning of the 23rd.

Since I am new to the area, moved here last october, and have not attended any events yet, new business has taken all my time, I will ask a dumb question. Is the Eagle cook open to the public? If you don't cook can you just come and get the chance to meet everybody? Unrelated question - I have seen the name "Red, White and Que" on the forum. That is very, very similar to the team name i had chosen. What is the rule about team names? I already had designed a logo and everything....

The Eagle event is open to everyone to come on out and cook, judge, or watch. I think Bubba said there will be a membership tent for the non members to visit. ;)

These two threads have some info for you.
