Need input about a new competition ?

need to know if any intrest to have a competition up north in hillman mi about 45 miles east of gaylord and 30 miles west of alpena.
the date that we are looking at is oct 2-3 the nice part of this is that it would be at thunderbay resort and held in rv park with blacktop spots with on site water and power . the resort has 18 hole golf course and horse pulled elk viewing rides with meal cooked on wood stoves .
the resort has rooms and villas nice place .

That is the same weekend as the American Royal.

Like Rich said, its the same weekend as the American Royal which may take a few teams from Michigan but hopefully the interest generated by the Oscoda event in September will bring some attention to BBQ in your portion of the state.
Obviously, email me with any specifics and the association will be happy to lend some guidance and promote the event.
I've golfed there before, a beautiful place and venue for a BBQ comp.
