In conjunction with the Flushing Walleye Festival, the GLBBQA is hosting the 3rd Annual Flushing Chili Challenge Sponsored by Dort Federal Credit Union on March 14th at 10:00am. All of the info and the entry form can be found here:

This is the home of the very first event that the GLBBQA put on and they are very good to us. I would like to see some members come out for this one. We have 2 Categories this year with a chance to win $750.00 in prize money. We have the People's Choice category as well as the Judges Sample. We had over 150 people sample chili last year so come on out and put your best chili out there!! The entry fee is only $25.00 :D
We have made a few changes, propane/butane is allowed and preferred as their is limited electricity available, and we also have the Judges category. This is to give everyone a fair shake.
