This looks like a good deal for yall around Flint.

Winters is here , stock up your heating wood. We have boxes of kiln dried hardwood. These can be a mix maple, oak, hickory or cherry. These weigh approx. 500 Lbs. Great for clean campfire wood. We can load on your pick up with a forklift. Can be used for grilling, cooking, smoking meat. rv,trailer, camping, campfire . Many pieces large enough to build butcher blocks or whole wood counter tops.
Will sort for a single wood species of your choice for $60.

Kiln dried wood is TOO dry for most smoker applications. It is so dry that it will almost immediately combust and doesn't burn long enough to create good smoke.
Now you could always soak it first.

Very interesting and I never thought about that.

The link says they are selling them for $30 a box so for that price I might let them sit out in the weather to get a little bit of the moisture back.
