Lockhart's BBQ-Royal Oak-Any news About this?

Hey Everyone,
I just noticed a Facebook Page of Lockhart's BBQ that is opening up in Royal Oak in May/June '10. Anyone know these guys? They have the GLBBQA as a fan page on their site. Looks like they are trying to go after the Texas BBQ Theme-right up my alley!!

Seems like Memphis Smoke just promotes their Live Music...Doesn't seem like they care too much about their food...

I would love to see a Texas BBQ type place where you order what kind of meat you like by the pound, they weigh it out and just give it to you on some butcher paper along with some Wonder Bread...

No, nothing to do with the restaurants-other than it looks like the guy who owns it went to UT in Austin, TX...This guy owns the Detroit Beer Co. and Royal Oak Brewery...Here is the article that just came out...

Hi guys,

I am the one opening up Lockhart's BBQ. Going to do my best to make great BBQ like I grew up on in Texas. I have been smoking briskets, ribs and sausage since the mid 80's. Been a dream of mine to have my own restaurant for BBQ for many years. Hope you all will come check out what I have going. If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to let me know.
