My name is Mike.... and I have a BBQ Problem.

Here are some brief facts about me:

Devoted Backwoods Smoker and Weber Charcoal Grill Customer
Apple Wood and Pecan are my favorite smoking woods
Chicken and Ribs are my favorite comp entries
I have two comp teams: Giggling Pigs BBQ Company and Mr Bobo's Traveling BBQ Allstars
Organizer and Chairman for the Boston Hills BBQ Fest, Boston, NY (KCBS State Championship)
Avid fly fisherman who would need little encouragement to travel to the AuSable River to fish the Holy Water in Michigan

It was great seeing you again and meeting Kevin. Had a blast telling stories and doing Myron Mixon impersonations! :D

It was a pleasure to meet the 1999 National Comp Eliminator Champion! I can only expect that the sort of precision that made you a champion in drag racing is transferred to your comp bbq program. Hit those marks, Mark!

The hospitality and comraderie made me wish I lived in Michigan. That says a lot, because I was born and raised in O-H....I-O! :D

The return trip was LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG! Kevin was hungover and sleepy (wwwwaaaahhhh!). The wind was blowing our vehicle all over the place, and my driver side windshield wiper wasn't cleaning off the windshield well. I sang vintage country songs to myself the whole way back.
