Is the board considering another Eagle Park contest?

It would be helpfull to know so I can let the park mgr know ahead of time.

Also is there any chance of this being a sanctioned contest in 2010?

The Board is considering it. We need vounteers to help pull this off. Besides Bull, who would be interested in helping with this event ? We would need some people to act as "Organizers, and Reps" of a real Contest. Please let us know if you are interested in helping with this.

As for the sanctioned contest, is the town of Eagle willing to help make that happen ? It is way too late to make 2010 a sanctioned contest...

Does making it an official sanctioned contest take the
"Fun Cook" out of it?

Making it a sanctioned contest means KCBS sanctioning, or some other governing body...

That is really good participation for a fun cook. I can't wait to get the details.

Old thread, I know, but if the glbbqa is sponsoring anything within reasonable driving distance from Flat Rock, and needs help, shoot me a PM or email, and I'll most likely be able to help out.

I do not know that it is top secret, but we are having a committee meeting!

I need to get a handle on what has been done and what needs to be done.

There is a lot of experience on the team! We will be posting some details soon.

Thanks for the support!

Hahahaha.....Boil your ribs first. :p

Mike Wozniak (Quau) showed us two ways to do chicken and Scottie showed us another way. I was on chicken overload!

I am doing one style today with my own twist.

The best part of the weekend is that the group raised over $13,000 for cancer research.

Electric Oven, not a smoker...

They burn so efficient that the smoke that comes out of them is very nice smelling. There might be room in the garage for a used pellet cooker one day. I am definitely not saying never.

That was a great class and I got to meet Rich there too. Information overload is right! The goodie bags were wonderful and useful.
