We have here in N.M. the worlds largest peacn farms.(so the sign on I-10 states) and they make and sell just about every thing from the pecan. they even have oil in their store. but it is the same that I buy on line. except they sell the 750 ml for the same price as the above link sells the 1 liter for.

I use instead of mustard, pecan oil to to paint the meat then apply the rubs.
taste pretty good.
all steaks get painted with it then I apply a rub to them before Grilling. Plowboys Bovine is pretty good on rib eyes.
It is to expensive for slathering cases of meat for sales to the public. But for your home use and friends. you may want to give it a try.

I hope some will give it try and put some feed back. might even have a rub that blends even better with the pecan oil then PlowBoys Bovine. but kosher salt and CBP works pretty good with the oil.

Interesting!

I have been doing a taste test with different ingredients to paint the meat before the rub so maybe I will give pecan oil a try. Thanks for the link.
