I stopped in Bed, Bath & Beyond today after a diabetic seminar because it was on a side of town I don't get too often and I wanted to see if they had any Maverick ET-73s. Well they didn't have any of them and they had a big rack of Polders on display out in the open pushing them with the rest of the Thanksgiving cookware (pans, basters, insta read thermos, lacing kits etc.) I've only heard bad news about Polders so I went lookin' around to see what else they might have and found these Maverick model ET-87 Roast Alert digital thermometers hangin' up with a price tag that says $9.99. Well I was on the Maverick website a couple days ago and didn't see any thermos this cheap, so I bought one and came home to see what Maverick wanted for them. I was really surprised to see a MSRP of $24.99. You can bet that I'll be going back out to swoop up another 3-4 of these.
