Starting up a new comp!?

Good morning everyone...

A friend of mine, who is a member of the Canton Downtown Development Authority, says that the DDA is very interested in running a BBQ competition. He loves the idea of a KCBS sanctioned event, but would also like to maybe open things up a bit with some sales of que - buck a bone, or maybe more like a traditional rib fest - so he can connect it with another event that they run.

If you organize (or help organize) a competition, and would be willing to talk with him, please respond to this thread or send me a PM with some contact info that I can give him.

Passed on your info, but Mark (the guy from the Canton DDA) is sometimes a bit slow to respond. He did tell me that he got my email, and looked forward to speaking with you. I will give him a gentle reminder.
