It was written on another Forum that they had a venue change/issue which was cause for the delay. I think they heard that Mike And Mike wanted it in Flint and farked em up

After the fact, if that's the biggest problem we have all year it has been a good one!;)

It was premature, and from the outside I don't know how it happened so I'm not comfortable laying blame or being critical beyond saying that it shouldn't have happened.

That being said, it appears that some concerns I'd heard from cooks were heard and addressed in terms of the rules as well as the schedule and locations. It's not perfect, and everybody can't be happy all of the time but it looks like the folks doing the planning were responsive. I think it's a step in the right direction.

Sorry for the late reply, but my wife and I took a week to go on a needed vacation and returned home to work, Christmas shopping, wrapping, planning, and vacation from vacation!

Between this and the early release of the Jack winners' list it seems like someone needs to stop posting before the fact. If the list of Sam's comps wasn't ready for publication then it never should have been mentioned. On the Jack issue there's just no excuse for that!

It's nothing really Geoff...last week the KCBS stated they were going to post the SAm's Club Schedule on a certain day, well that day came and went and they didn't post it and you would have thought that the end of the world was near.

They eventually posted it the next day. It's December....

I saw on their FB that the KCBS will be giving out free entries today to various comps around the country.

They are auctioning some some off at the KCBS Banquet in San Diego, don't think they are giving them away.
