Fran (Daisy) and I will be going down as ride-a-longs with Tony and Anita Moore from Princeton Wisconsin. They used to run "Burning down the Fox". We are going down to observe and enjoy... unfortunately not to cook. It will be a good time to see some old friends including the folks from Winchester TN (High on the Hog). :D

Oh and yes... Moore county is dry, but you don't have to travel to far to get wet.... and I will have my camera taking as many still pictures as I can... Sorry no video...:(

Officially yes it is, but as long as you keep stuff in a cup they don't bother you, they just don't want to see it out in the open.

What a time we had at the Jack. I want to thank the boys from glbbqsc for all the support and espesially the Black wedge they formed to speed our turn ins to the judges.
Thanks also to everyone who stopped by to say hello and also to those who cheered us on from home.
Unfortunatly we did not get the results we may have wished for but that does not detract from the great time we had. They really do roll out the red carpet for the teams.
So... tour the factory, eat at Miss Mary Bobo's, have dinner "on the hill", cook a bbq contest, and as Beyonce says "put a ring on it" pretty full weekend.

It was really great to see everyone down in Lynchburg. I enjoyed finally meeting some GLBBQA blog site friends, and getting to see some old friends face to face again. Proud of Troy and all his efforts... as well as congrats again on the engagement. I have some pictures I will post when I am at home.... Great time, great friends, great Q....

Gotta say even though I had to spend the weekend with Bruce, Bubba and Mike, it was a heck of a time.
A big thanks to Troy and his team for being such a good cook to win the draw that gave us the opportunity to go down there and experience the event.
It was cool. Have to thank Debbie and Tracy too for being such good sports.
