For those of you at the BBQ for the troops, you got to see this. I had thought about selling the Lang 60 for a few reason, which I won't go into all of them, but one was it's user friendliness. Whenever you would cook a couple of cases of butts, it was always difficult to get to the ones at the back. To alleviate this problem, I installed two slide out racks. Also the warmer was set up goofy to me. So much unused space. Amazing what a little thought, grinder, welder, and steel can do to change a guys mind.

warmer with 7 pans now. Came in handy at BBQ for the troops.
All in all picked up space for 4 butts. Lost space for 2 on the bottom, but picked up space for 6 on the top, over the previous rack.

very nice ! now the main chamber is like an 84. i do like the warming mods, may have to do that to my lang also. i do wish i had that fancy hole in the bottom of your warmer in mine, but i have one of the original lang 84's without all the special handles and levers and dampeners.... but, it does have 3 gas burners, but they dont work. (not that i need them anyway)

thanks!

I love the smoke chamber mods Mark! I wish mine was like that. I just double up the pans in the warmer(stack). I have the 3 levers(dampers) on my 60 also, and am glad I have the options and flexability.

Nice job, Mark.
Pull out shelves are the only way to go with an offset that size.
You'll never regret it.
