I met today with a professional butcher at a professional butcher shop In Milford who is one of the two guys that makes the sausage for the butcher shop. He said he would love to put on a sausage making class and that we could have it at the butcher shop and use the butcher shop equipment.
It would have to be after the holidays, possibly in February and wants to know about how many people would be interested.
So anyone who is interested, just answer on this forum, hopefully we can get enough to make it worthwhile.
Thanks
Scott

Spoke on the phone today with the person who schedules the different classes at the business, she is going to speak with the butcher for some specifics and get back with me on a cost.
If this works, the date will be late February on a weekend day.

Ok, just to bring this topic up again. As was stated in another thread Dick is looking for a new instructor and location. We have a very good lead and will discuss it in more detail Saturday at the Holiday Party but please be assured that we will have a Sausage class this year!!

Thats what the GLBBQA needs!
Some of their more knowledgeable members who already know this stuff to volunteer their time to show the rest of us dumbarses how to do different things.
This association will NOT last if other members dont step up and be a part of it.

As stated I have been makking sausage for a long time but I would not consider myself a expert like someone that does this for a living. Next time we are doing it at home though, anyone interested can come and help and learn. Specially nice to have people to help with the clean up........its a flipping mess!

Again I am not aware of RichTee's sausage making abilities, this thread has been on here since October. I will also assume that Rich has looked at it. I further assume that if he was interested he might have spoken up.... So to answer your question no, no one has asked him.
Now, please answer my question, did he or anyone else volunteer ??
