Has anyone here tried, used, or uses Bad Byron's Butt Rub? The BBQ Galore in FTW, TX has it and was wondering if anyone would recommend it.
Thx

Never tried it myself, but Byron wins a lot of contests with it.

THat was the very first rub I ever bought, it was ok but the shaker is pretty small for the price, pretty sure they sell it at Bass Pro.

$13.99 for a 26 oz. bottle. And its only about 1.3 miles to the store from Pop's place.

It's not a bit salty, it's salty and pretty peppery also. It does tend to mild out though when cooked. Not a lot of sugar in it.
Byron swears by it.

If I do get it and it turns out like ya'll say, I could always add some sugar to it.
Guess that would be called. "tinkerin"...............

Byron's rub was one of the first I tried when I moved to Florida. He lived in Destin, only 7 milkes away so we heard and saw a lot about his rub. I didn't care for it due to the saltiness and figured if I was gonna have to "tinker" with it I might as well make my own. Byron has won a lot of contest and sold an awful lot of rub so I guess there are folks that like that salty thing....
