GLBBQA Sponsors Senior Q Day

The GLBBQA will be sponsoring a Senior Q Day in Utica, MI on Saturday October 17, 2009. We will be furnishing a luncheon for the residents of the cities Riverside 175 Senior Residential Complex along with members of the Utica Pioneers Club.

Riverside 175 is located at 7650 Greely, Utica, MI and the luncheon will start at 12:00 noon.

The City of Utica City Council has by proclamation proclaimed October as Senior Q month in the City of Utica.

On the menu will be pulled pork sandwiches, chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans and dessert.

We are hoping to serve around 100 seniors that day and as always any help we can get from GLBBQA members would be greatly appreciated not only by the association but by the seniors as well. C'mon out and make a senior citizen feel special for a day and help out your association in this worthwhile event.

Well, now that I can post a reply, just wanted to say that I'll help out that day. Someone just needs to let me know where to be and when to be there. I PM'ed my phone # to Bubba, and can send it to anyone else that may need it for this event.

I have to say that I'm a little disappointed that bubba won't be there to try and figure out my screen name again! You should have seen him trying to ask what dodgeramsst2003 without any pauses, or spaces sounded like!

EDIT: I just read the commitments page again and I saw that bubba will indeed be there...... good thing..... now bubba just remember its dodge ram sst 2003 with the spaces included!
