Jack Draw

Here's someones lucky chance to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about (like they need a reason). The Jack Draw should be coming up at the end of the month. Does this sound like the correct list of teams going into the draw to represent Michigan?

Mears 2008 - All Day Smoke
Kingsford - Pork of the North
Grand Rapids - Cancer Sucks Chicago
Mount Morris - Extreme Roasters

If not, could someone please correct. In any event, good luck to all those who are representing Michigan State Championship Contests.

Also I would not count Jim from All day Smoke out this is a pretty big honor to simply pass up.

Whoever gets it one thing for sure Michgan will be well represented .

Nice to know Walt and Theresa are added to that list - Twice... When I was looking at the stats, those two events had less than 25 teams. I assume they were qualifiers for the Jack because they were first year events....? And thanks for the feedback.

Fran (Daisy Duke) and I will be heading down to Lynchburg as traveling guests of Tony and Anita Moore from Princeton Wisconsin. Quick trip down and back on the big green bus. Looking forward to seeing everyone that will be down there..... If a bunch of GLBBQA folks are going to be there... maybe we should pick a place and time for a little "sip"..... even though the town is dry...:D
