anyone have directions for mt. morris bbq comp. not sure where the fair grounds are.

I-75 North to Exit 126 (I think that is the exit number) in any event it will be the Mt Morris Rd Exit, turn right (go east) and you will run into the Fairgrounds. Here is a link from the Fair's webpage that has the address and directions:

yes, but then i would not be posting things as i could find out on my own, where is the fun in that. ( was not sure if comp was actually at the fair grounds or near it or what/where ever.... ) gotta talk about something on here i guess.

OUCH!!! I sprained my ankle last summer and it still hurts. I can't even imagine how bad it would be breaking it.

Crewdawg, Cap't Dan and I had two for minor victories.

A 6th in brisket and a 4th in ribs. Suprised us, honestly. Judges...sheesh.

Had a great time this weekend with Crewdog and Richtee. Thanks guys for the teamwork and patience!There is always room for improvement, but I am pretty pleased with our outcome, especially as or very first sanctioned event, and first time the 3 of us have cooked together.

Thanks to everyone we had a chance to meet and talk with (especially the guys from Motley Que and Red Wagon) at the Mt. Morris comp! The Friday nite pot luck was WAY YUMMY - looking forward to that fried chicken recipe Troy - and it was a great way to sit back and enjoy the brotherhood (and sisterhood) of Que.

Red, White and Que can't wait to get up to the comp on Sept 11, to meet some more of you and make another batch of que (hopefully with better results)!
