I thought it wouldnt be right if I did not include some food porn since I'm a newbie. The last photo shows it being dark but this was lighting from my iPhone.

You've been busy :)

Nice looking ribs! You're right, the last pic makes them look dark, but the other pics do a good job of showing the color.

I have a big comp next weekend so getting a few last minute tweaks ironed out. It is the Hold'em and Hit'em. You can check it out at www.tgcbca.org. View info in the calendar section. According to the promoter today we have 75 teams so far.

Awesome looking ribs.
The cool thing about living in Texas is you have contests mostly year round.
Here in Michigan is has been snowing on and off all day and evening, nothing heavy but my thermometer shows a balmy 19 degrees with very little wind for now.
Tad bit chilly for baby sitting my Klose mobile tontite.

I have a big stick burner but also a couple for Backwoods Chubby's. Now my stick burner stays in storage and I cook on the Chubby for that very reason. Wind, rain, snow, ice. It doesn't matter they will cook in any kind of weather. And not to mention the portability factor easy to move with 2 people and can go anywhere.
