So who all is going to Novi and who all is going to Fenton for the rib contests?
Some of the GLBBQA board will be doing a cooking demonstration as part of the Taste of Fenton event on Saturday the 8th.

I don't want to be shamed like those kids on American Idol where their family lied to them and told them they were good. :D

Actually, I am use to public humiliation, but I will be in Memphis TN eating my way through every BBQ restaurant in town.

Does the GLBBQA have get togethers where members can meet and hang out and cook except for comps of course?

Ya, Mikes competing, but i'll cook for him so he's guaranteed that first place pile o money. :rolleyes:

Seriously though, RSS BBQ will be vending that event so we look forward to seeing as many teams there as possible! ;)

Got this letter in the mail the other day to renew.......I threw it on "the pile".
If I don't pay and show up can I still hang out and talk with you guys?
Or will I be shunned.......pushed to the back......exiled???:(

Bubba told me its the special water from a special spring he has bubbling up in his backyard by the septic that makes them so good.
