I've been in touch with Liz from the Lowell Chamber of Commerce. She indicates that as of now they are still planning on holding a contest this year but are in need of someone to chair it. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will put you in touch with her.

Maybe they can get some real trophies/ ribbons instead of the place mats we got last year.:mad: Hell even GC and RGC got place mats.:confused:

that issue has been addressed, they have been operating in the red and if they pull it off this year may be the last if they can't make any money. Really need someone to chair that has some Q experience in that area of the state.

I hope it continues because it is a nice comp for cooks and judges. I especially liked the indoor bathrooms, showers, and sudden hurricane strength winds. :eek:

So did the Dawg! I really liked taking the shower and then standing outside in the bright sunshine, sweating again, when there was an air conditioned building not 20 feet from the "placemat awards" area :confused:
