Good Morning All,
I am posting this in Q-Chat so it gets the most exposure.
The BOD is looking for member input on the Annual Meeting. In particular we are looking for the following information:
Location
Type of event - i.e. Regular BOD meeting, or BOD meeting with guest speakers ?
Guest Speakers - Who or what would you like to hear/see ?
Any other topics
The Annual meeting will be held in Mid March (usually the 3rd weekend) and is the time that we vote for our openings on the BOD, and review the past year and a quick look ahead.
We usually like to have it somewhere centrally located in the state so we can make it as easy for all of the members to attend.
Please let me know what your thoughts are.

Lansing was a good location. BOD meeting with guest speakers. Maybe we should do lunch or something this time.

Lansing is a pretty good place. Seems fairly centrally located. Coarse, we could have it at Soaring Eagle in Mt Pleasent :D

I voted Mt. Pleasant last night at the BOD meeting but you see how far that went.

The Mayor has been to Mt Pleasant, and she liked it. Funny though, when we pulled up, she said, "How do Indians afford a place like this." No, other comments like that where made when we left.:D

Based on input received from the members that were at the Rib Burn this past weekend it appears that Mt Pleasant is the place to hold the meeting.
Are there any topics or speakers that you would like to hear/see at the meeting ?
I will start working on the meeting. The date will be March 19th,2011.

I thought the last format was good. It was nice to hear from Jeff and the other comp coordinators to hear about the next bbq season.

With Scott's luck being where it is he should probably just run on up to the casino instead of waiting till March....I'll guarantee you a first place in ribs would tell me my luck was going in the right direction!
