So if a guy (ok me) had a few UDS's and some other equipment (canopy, coolers, cutting boards, and such) and a desire to get schooled in the fine art of rib q'ing, would this be the place?? Any input is much appreciated..

Yep, this would definately be a good one to start out on. Its just a rib cook so the pressure of cooking KCBS meat catagories isn't there but you get the comp cooking experience.
See you live in Flint so its really close, next closest one is Mt. Morris in August but thats a full blown event.
Hope to see you at both!

A guy with 1 UDS and a canopy won this event last year! :cool:
